The most beaufitul neighbourhood of Salobreña: El Monte de los Almendros (Eng: “The almond tree mountain”)

The Monte de los Almendros  is undoubtedly the most beautiful neighbourhood of the white coastal town Salobreña and probably also of the entire Costa Tropical of Granada. 

The neighbourhood offers views on the sea and the close-by Sierra Nevada, which are simply breathtaking. Furthermore the sun of Southern Spain dyes the coastal plain of the Guadalfeo river in red, orange, yellow and purperl colours with every sunset. A natural spectacle that repeats itself every evening. 

You might be enjoying a drink and a good conversation with friends and family on the terrace, but I am sure you will pause for a brief moment in order to fully admire the moment when the sun disappears in the sea, but not without setting the sky “on fire” with powerful colours before it sets down.
