Bodega Señorío de Nevada: a winery you should visit

Dear guest, the geographical location of the Alpujarra, between the sea and Sierra Nevada, has created a very suitable climate for the production of different wines, for this reason the Bodega Señorío de Nevada stands out for the production of internationally known varieties such as: Syrah, Merlot and Cabernet Suavignon and the local variety Tempranillo.

The Bodega Señorío de Nevada, located in Villamena, offers visits and tastings, from which the visitor can learn how their wines are made and stroll among the vineyards, nestled on the southern face of Sierra Nevada. The visit also includes the underground barrel room and a tasting with aperitifs. This winery is inside a complex with a 4-star Hacienda and Hotel.

Hacienda Señorío de Nevada offers accommodation in a hotel committed to the environment, using techniques such as biomass or solar energy to supply energy. With a decoration that mixes rustic and modern style, from its rooms you can enjoy spectacular views of its vineyards. The hotel has an extraordinary restaurant where you can put into practice the knowledge you acquire in the many tasting courses that are taught at the Hacienda.

Visits take place on Saturdays at noon and Sundays at 12:30, always by appointment either by phone or email. Guided tours are done in both Spanish and English (subject to availability). The price per person is € 12 (VAT included) with a wine tasting, or € 21 (VAT included) if you prefer to taste 3 varieties.
