Equestrianism (from Latin equester, equestr-, equus, 'horseman', 'horse'), commonly known as horse riding (British English) or horseback riding (American English), includes the disciplines of riding, driving, or vaulting with horses. This broad description includes the use of horses for practical working purposes, transportation, recreational activities, artistic or cultural exercises, and competitive sport.
- Centro Ecuestre Las Maravillas: they offer horse riding in the mountains and on the beach. In addition, it has riding classes by a qualified teacher. It also has a Pony Club for children from an age of 3 to 7 years. It offers Hippotherapy treatments (horse therapy) and birthday celebrations with animation and horses.
- Hípica Pony Club Costa Tropical: they actively work in two locations, Motril and Granada, to provide service throughout the year so that you can enjoy the environment with their horse riding routes.
The routes through Motril are carried out only in summer so that you can choose between a tour on the beach or on the mountains. These last 3 hours in which they offer you a drink to enjoy your experience to the fullest. On the other hand, in winter they are made in the capital (Granada) so that you can do this activity in the mountains. These routes are 1 hour long since being through the mountains requires more effort.
